  • Running Club: Kindergarten through 5th grade students may participate in Running Club before school with Ms. Nenna and Coaches Fox and Martone.  For more information and to fill out the necessary documents, visit our Linktree.
  • ASL Club: American Sign Language/ASL Club is a fun way for 4th and 5th grade students to explore a new way to communicate.  Mrs. Nielsen learned ASL in high school and has practiced it for many years.  She meets with the club members on Friday mornings from 8:00-8:30am.  In the club students are learning the basics of sign language, including the alphabet & WH questions, as well as more specific signs related to school such as our school creed and the Pledge of Allegiance.  Each week members will have a chance to practice what they've learned before adding on new signs.  We will even have opportunities to use what we've learned around the school, such as interpreting songs in our Winter Chorus Concert, and communicating with teachers and peers in a way that is not disruptive to the rest of the class.  Join ASL Club today! Please contact Mrs. Nielsen for more information.
  • Ladies of Courage: Ladies of Courage is an empowerment club for fourth and fifth-grade girls at Pine Crest Elementary. Our mission is to build self-esteem, foster leadership skills, promote teamwork, and address specific issues that girls may face. Our club meets every two weeks, where we listen to a presentation from our stellar guest speakers—a Pine Crest staff member or our community partners. These guest speakers provide inspiration and valuable perspectives in just 30 minutes before we start our school day. In addition, we have a mentorship program that pairs each girl with a staff member on campus. Through these efforts, we aim to emphasize the importance of creating a safe and inclusive space where our girls feel comfortable learning and expressing themselves.
  • Chorus: In chorus we learn singing techniques, including matching pitch, singing together, and watching the director.  We do vocal warm-ups which help to expand range and learn to sing songs that will be performed in concerts.  Chorus meets every Monday in the music room from 3:15 to 4:15.
